Answers to the most frequently asked questions about our offering and the topic of water quality and water filters in Thailand
FAQ about our water test
Is the water test really free?
Yes, we offer you to test the water supply in your home free of charge.
How does the water test work? What awaits me?
Our water test takes place at your home. We first inspect your existing water installation, including any existing water filters. We then carry out a series of tests in which we compare the water that comes out of your tap with the water that our filtration systems deliver. These include, for example, various taste tests.
My neighbor has already had his water tested and says everything is fine. Then my water is probably OK too, right?
Simple answer: NO!
Even if you are both supplied by the same supply line and have identical filter systems installed, the water quality of your two households can be very different. For example, a poorly made adhesive connection between two PVC water pipes is enough to cause contamination. And in every household there are a large number of such connections.
How much time should I allow for the water test?
It's best to plan around one to two hours.
Can I just send you my tap water for testing?
Unfortunately, this is not possible, as our service is not just about presenting raw numbers and data, but also wants to present possible solutions in the event of deficiencies in water quality. And this is only possible on site if we have the opportunity to inspect the existing water and pipe system.
FAQ about our products
How much do your water filters cost?
We don't offer "off-the-shelf" water filters. Instead, we rely on individual advice with appropriately tailored solutions.
Isn't it much cheaper to buy water in the submarket?
In the short term, this is probably true in many cases, but in the long term, water filters are worth it in most cases. And not just financially, but also in terms of health, time savings, convenience and environmental protection.
Can I test your filters before I decide to buy?
Yes, this is part of our service. After a detailed consultation, we will install the filter system that we think makes sense and give you the opportunity to thoroughly convince yourself of its performance before you decide to buy.
Do the filters need to be replaced at certain intervals?
The Aquaspin works completely maintenance-free and does not need to be replaced or changed. The remaining filters should be replaced once a year.
Our service: We always inform our customers in good time when a filter change is due.
Can your filter systems ensure a drinking water supply throughout the entire house?
Of course, it is possible to ensure that drinking water can be taken from every tap point in your household. But be honest: do you actually get your drinking water from the toilet flush? Probably not. That's why we rely on detailed advice and the sensible and resource-saving use of our water systems.1
FAQ about water filters in Thailand
Why should I use a water filter in Thailand?
A water filter helps to remove impurities, bacteria and chemicals from tap water, making it safer and healthier for daily consumption. This is particularly important as tap water in Thailand is often of poor quality and undrinkable.
What types of water filters are available in Thailand?
There are various types of water filters available in Thailand, including
Jug filters: easy to use and ideal for small households.
Countertop water filters: Compact units that are placed on the countertop.
Under-sink filters: Installed under the sink and filter water directly from the tap.
Reverse osmosis filters: Offer high filtration performance and remove almost all impurities.
UV filters: Use ultraviolet light to kill bacteria and viruses.
How do I choose the right water filter for my home?
Consider the following factors when choosing a water filter:
Water quality in your area: check what contaminants are common.
Budget: Determine how much you want to spend.
Filter capacity: Think about how much filtered water you need each day.
Installation: Decide whether you prefer an easy-to-install filter or a professional installation service.
How often should I change the filter?
The frequency of the filter change depends on the type of filter and the water quality. Intervals of between one month and one year are possible. With our systems, the filters should be changed once a year.
Are water filters cost-effective?
Yes, water filters can be cost-effective, especially if you use large quantities of bottled water. The initial investment in a filter and the regular filter changes can be cheaper in the long run than buying bottled water all the time.
